Facilities of the people,
by the people, and for the people

We hire fair-wage staff who come from the communities we serve as we firmly believe that these women and men are best equipped to operate and monitor these facilities. We train these staff to use digital tools as they upload daily data on quality and use to SHRI’s public online dashboard. This dashboard is used by SHRI staff and managers to guide operations and analyze facility performance. Thus, our success metrics of 99.7% uptime and uses of 2.2 million in 2023 weren’t possible without these passionate, trained and committed staff of SHRI.
